Connecting Youth to Careers

Saksham Rozgar Society, in partnership with Saksham Bharti and Saksham Bharti Foundation, organized its flagship Job Fair on December 24, 2023, at Indira Gandhi Kala Kendra, Noida. Branded as the “Swami Vivekanand Aajeevika Mahotsav,” the event attracted over 600 job seekers who connected with representatives from 30+ reputed companies. With the support of 100+ volunteers, the fair provided entry-level opportunities across diverse sectors including data entry, finance, customer service, housekeeping, beauty and fashion, and more.

The fair was more than a recruitment drive—it was a celebration of ambition and opportunity. SRS President Ms. Jyotika Kalra led post-event efforts to ensure smooth placement follow-ups by coordinating between employers and candidates. Earlier that year, on January 1, SRS co-hosted another job fair with Saksham Bharti, followed by a two-month support drive to help shortlisted candidates secure employment. These efforts highlighted key trends among youth—such as a preference for nearby workplaces and hesitation toward certain job roles—and reaffirmed SRS’s commitment to not just skilling, but sustainably employing the next generation.
